Romans 14:1Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do. And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently.I need to be a peacemaker. I can see both sides to most arguments. I see people as individuals and try to view them as unique people that God loves. Everyone has their own history and their own stories. God speaks to them just as he speaks to me. I can learn from them.Lord, when people annoy me or irritate me, help me to just relax. Forgive me for not relying on your love and your gentleness in how I receive others. Let me welcome other believers the same way that I want to be welcomed.Guard my mouth and let me be filled with your gentleness and kindness in dealing with the people around me. I do not know them as much as I think I do. I only know what they have shown me or told me.Help me to be a safe person that others can be real around. Fill me with your grace and your mercy today. Help me to walk in your paths today.
