Joshua 1:7Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going.Moses told Joshua to be strong and to take courage. He was to do what Moses had told him to do. He was not to get off track so that he could get to where he was going. Where was he going? He was going to the promised land. He was to take over the land for the children of Israel. And he was to do this without diluting the relationship Israel had with God.Lord, help me to be courageous and strong today. Remind me of what it is you have for me to do. Remind me of the plan and the vision you have for me. Forgive me for doubting you and not seeing your care for me. Forgive me for not trusting you.Help me to move forward every day toward the goal that you have for me. It will not be easy. I will make mistakes. But help me back to the path. Don’t let me go left or right in the wrong direction. Guide my steps and my words every day. Show me where I am going.Fill me with hope and peace. Light up my way with your joy and your love. Fill me with your compassion and grace.
