Day 138 May 18 Psalm 91:15

Psalm 91:14-16“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble.I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me.Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”There I am, standing in the midst of the storm. It rages around me. But I do not fear, because God is at my side.Lord, help me to hold on to you. Everything in me just wants to curl up and lie down. But you are standing here with me. Infuse me with your strength and your courage. Do not let me be weary. Support my arms. Strengthen my knees.Forgive me for not trusting in you. Forgive me for the mistakes I have made. Forgive me for thinking I could do this without you. Forgive me for thinking I could do this on my own. I can’t. I need you.So I call out to you and I know you will take care of me. You will get me out of trouble. I want only to get to know you and to trust you more.Let this day be the beginning of my long life of salvation. Hold me tight. Don’t let me go. Now, let’s face the day.
