Day 166 June 15 Psalm 73:1

Psalm 73:1-5No doubt about it! God is good— good to good people, good to the good-hearted. But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness.I was looking the other way, looking up to the people At the top, envying the wicked who have it made, Who have nothing to worry about, not a care in the whole wide world.God is good. But I can miss it if my mind is focused on negative things, on comparisons, on what I don’t have.Lord, please forgive me for not trusting in you. Forgive me for comparing what I have with what others have. You have provided me with enough. I even have more than enough. I am blessed.I praise you, Lord, for your goodness. I praise you for providing for me and for those around me.Help me to focus on what you are doing in my life and in the lives of those around me. Keep my focus there and not on famous or rich people.Guide me and take my hand today. Help me down the path you have chosen for me. Do not leave my side. Help me to feel your love, your strength and your courage today.
