I am an original

You, oh Lord, are wonderful. You have provided a way for me to receive the blessings you promised Abraham and Israel. You took my sins on the cross and bore them. You paid the price of death that was demanded of sin. You rose again to new life. And then you welcomed me into your heart. You love me.Then you provided a wonderful way. You said if I believe in you, you will forgive my sins. I can ask you into my life and you will enter into my life. You and I will be one just as you and your father God are one. So this is the way you have provided for me. I am yours. You are my Savior. You are my God.And now I have chosen the life of the Spirit. I want to work out the implications in every detail of my life. I will not compare myself with others because one is not better or worse. I have far more interesting things to do with my life now. Because God is with me and God is in me and I am an original, God has a plan and work for me to do. Help me today God, to get on with it!Galatians 5:25-26 Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.
