Isaiah 12:2-4“Yes, indeed—God is my salvation. I trust, I won’t be afraid. God—yes God!—is my strength and song, best of all, my salvation!”Joyfully you’ll pull up buckets of water from the wells of salvation. And as you do it, you’ll say, “Give thanks to God. Call out his name. Ask him anything! Shout to the nations, tell them what he’s done, spread the news of his great reputation! The Lord is my salvation. In him I trust. I won’t be afraid. God, my God is my strength. He gives me songs to sing all day long. He is my salvation. He saves me from depression and anxiety. He protects me from self-pity. I just have to listen to him.I dance around as the Lord provides me joy and peace. Bucketfuls of joy are mine as I trust in him. Encouraging others to trust in God is what I do. God is good. He provides. He comforts. He is a refuge for people in need.Lord, forgive me of my sins and make me clean again. Show me the joy of my salvation and let me feel it to my bones. Let me sing today and hum as the day moves on.Protect me from depression. Move me out of self-pity. Engage my energy and my thoughts to finish the work set before. Lift my heart and make me lighthearted again.Protect my family and loved ones. Provide us with what we need. Let us sing for joy in your presence today.
