Don’t let me down! Take me seriously this time! Get down on my level and listen, and please—no procrastination! Your granite cave a hiding place, your high cliff aerie a place of safety.The author is impatient for God to act. He is desperate for a safe place. But after pouring out his heart to God, trust in God reveals itself. He is reminded to be brave and strong. Expect God.Lord, forgive me for being weary and impatient. Forgive me for giving up at times. Fill me with your love and patience. Show me how you love me even when I cannot feel it.Let me always run to you. You are my hiding place. You are my place of safety. I want to be brave. I want to be strong. Let me always be in expectation of you.Today let me live life as if I expect you to arrive. Fill my life with your presence and your joy. Let me feel your peace in my heart.
