Cozy Mystery Series
Morro Bay Mysteries is a crossover novel between Emily’s Cat Mysteries and the Morro Bay Mysteries. I love cats and enjoy cozy mystery series, and I’ve read several by different authors.
What intrigues me most are the myriad topics and locations, which are as varied and diverse as our world. In my cozy mysteries, I allow my cats to use tablets to communicate with their humans.
When cats are allowed to use their very own tablet, they can get distracted by videos, movies, cooking shows, and documentaries, just like us. And they forget to charge them occasionally.
Do you communicate with your cats?
Emily’s Cat Mysteries centers around a computer coder working from home during the pandemic. While Emily is an introvert, her compassion, and desire to help pull her out of her comfort zone.
Morro Bay Mysteries is set in the central coastal region of California. It is a touristy town that blends a working fishing harbor, the Coast Guard, a surfing beach, and really fun shops and food. My husband first learned about pour-over coffee at Top Dog Coffee Bar. He bought a shirt and a pour-over setup to make it at home. He takes the shirt on every visit to Morro Bay.
In the cozy series, a retired police chief and his German Shepherd police dog, Donner, keep an eye on their town. While retirement can get boring, Donner enjoys the laid-back pace. His best friend, a cat named Felix, adds a sparkle to the day with the costumes his human buys online.
