Hebrews 4:14-16Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers.We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin.So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.Jesus is the one I go to when I need help. And I need help every day. He is my priest, my confidant, my savior.He has seen it all and he is my comfort today.Lord, see me here. I am feeling weak today. Fill me with your strength and your courage. Let me see you work around me today. Let me see the joy you bring to me.I come to you, Lord. My hands are out-stretched. I need you today. Fill me with your peace and your comfort. You are my savior and my help in time of need. Help me to accept your help today.
