Psalm 84:5-7And how blessed all those in whom you live, whose lives become roads you travel; They wind through lonesome valleys, come upon brooks, discover cool springs and pools brimming with rain!God-traveled, these roads curve up the mountain, and at the last turn—Zion! God in full view! What a blessed and happy life this is! My life are roads that God travels. They wind through lonesome valleys and dry lonely deserts. Then I come upon a lovely babbling brooks. It is so cool and refreshing. I discover cool bubbling springs and pools that are brimming with sweet rainwater. And when I grow tired and near my journey’s end, my road will curve up the mountain. God will hold me tightly as we round the last turn. And there I will have reached the end. Here I will see God fully.Lord, forgive me for focusing on my own petty cares and worries. You have taken care of me in the past. You will take care of me now. And this life I live I live in the strength of your love for me.When my way seems lonely or full of despair, you are with me each step of the way. I have only to turn to you to feel you with me. Your guidance helps me through each day. When I am in full relaxation mode and feel refreshed in your love and your joy, I ask that you reveal to me your plans for tomorrow. Let me take your hand and sing your praises. And some days, when I am tired of this journey, you hold me up in your arms and keep moving me forward. You are my help and you are my refuge. You are my strength and you are my peace.Hold me today, Lord, as we walk through this day.
