Day 84 March 25 Acts 4:31

Acts 4:29-31“And now they’re at it again! Take care of their threats and give your servants fearless confidence in preaching your Message, as you stretch out your hand to us in healings and miracles and wonders done in the name of your holy servant Jesus.”While they were praying, the place where they were meeting trembled and shook. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak God’s Word with fearless confidence.After healing a lame man nearly 40 years old and being thrown in jail by the Jewish leaders, Peter and John were brought before those leaders.The leaders told Peter and John not to preach about Jesus or mention his name or heal anyone in his name again. But Peter spoke up and said that they could not help but proclaim Jesus.The leaders could do nothing. They had nothing on Peter or John. They had to let them go. Too many people had seen the healed man and were praising God because of the miracle.Then Peter and John met with their fellow believers and told them what had happened. And they all prayed together. They prayed for boldness.Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke God’s Word with fearless confidence.Lord, fill me with your boldness. Forgive me for not trusting you in my every day life. Teach me to speak of you to anyone who will listen. Give me words of knowledge and wisdom to share to those who need it. Make me confident in you and your power.Take my hand and lead me through this day. Let me extend my hands where I am needed. Let me finish my work in good time. Give me favor with those around me. But let me be bold today.
