2 Corinthians 10:3-6The world is unprincipled. It’s dog-eat-dog out there! The world doesn’t fight fair. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way—never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity. The world is unprincipled. It doesn’t fight fair. Beware of anything or anyone in the world who does not declare Jesus Christ is Lord of their lives. We don’t use marketing techniques which lie and manipulate people into believing our message. We don’t use shame to force people to live how we think they should live. Our job is not to judge people. Our job is not to control them. Our job is to use our God-tools to pray for them, to tear them loose from the hold this world has on them.Lord, please forgive me of my sins. Keep me from concentrating on controlling the behavior of others. Help me to keep my focus solely on you and your work for me.Let me be filled with your grace and mercy for myself, my family and others. Let me turn to prayer in every instance. Guide my words and help me to encourage others.Guide my steps today and move me into the path you have for me.
