Luke 2:39-40When they finished everything required by God in the Law, they returned to Galilee and their own town, Nazareth. There the child grew strong in body and wise in spirit. And the grace of God was on him.A prayer for every mother and child: Lord, help my child grow strong in body and wise in spirit. May your grace be on him.Lord, be with those I love. Protect them from bodily harm. Hold them close to you and whisper to their souls.Calm the impulses and urges that would bring them harm or harm others. Send your mighty Spirit into the breach and give safety to my loved ones.Bring grace and peace into my heart. Help me to be strong with your strength. Let me love with justice and guide with gentleness. Fill me with your joy and hope this day.
