The Charlie Books
Welcome to the Charlie Books series. Written for children, this series will contain books for three age groups.
- Picture Books – For the youngest readers, two through eight.
- Story Books – For first-grade through fourth-grade readers.
- Chapter Books – For third-grade through sixth-grade readers.
The Charlie Books began taking up space in my head when my children were young. It has taken me years to develop a way to bring them to fruition.
A long time ago, my husband and I adopted a kitten somewhere in Oklahoma. We named him Charlie.
Charlie had a lot of adventures. First, he came to live with us and enliven our lives. Then he found a girlfriend. Sometime later, we moved to Texas. One morning, I found a puppy on the front porch. Charlie had been out all night but was determined to watch that sleeping puppy. And finally, we added a new kitten to our home.
The picture books feature subjects such as:
- A Medieval Cat
- A Cowboy Cat
- A Doctor Cat
- and more
The chapter books feature the Adventures of Charlie and Ginger. It includes climbing a ladder, opening cages, and more.
