Psalm 71:1-3I run for dear life to God, I’ll never live to regret it. Do what you do so well: get me out of this mess and up on my feet.Put your ear to the ground and listen, give me space for salvation. Be a guest room where I can retreat; you said your door was always open! You’re my salvation—my vast, granite fortress.Where can I turn when life is hard? Where can I go when I feel unwelcome or overwhelmed? I run to God.Lord, forgive me of my sins. Make me whole and clean. Wash my mind with your word and give me space for salvation.I run to you, Lord. I will never regret running to you. Every day I seek you out and you find me. You get me out of my messes. You put me on my feet. You listen to me. You hold me. You are concerned for me.You are a place where I can retreat. You are my salvation. You are my vast fortress of hope and strength.Fill me today with your strength and your courage. Let me understand the next steps as you lead me through them.
