Deuteronomy 30:8-10And you will make a new start, listening obediently to God, keeping all his commandments that I’m commanding you today. God, your God, will outdo himself in making things go well for you: you’ll have babies, get calves, grow crops, and enjoy an all-around good life. Yes, God will start enjoying you again, making things go well for you just as he enjoyed doing it for your ancestors.But only if you listen obediently to God, your God, and keep the commandments and regulations written in this Book of Revelation. Nothing halfhearted here; you must return to God, your God, totally, heart and soul, holding nothing back.God can make things go well for me. He can help me keep his commandments. He is involved in all areas of my life. He sees my family, my home and my job. He takes these things under account. He fills me with his love. He fills me with his peace. I am filled with joy at his voice.Lord, forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your righteousness. Make a new start in me today. Help me to listen to you today and follow you.Then you will outdo yourself for me. You will start enjoying me again and making things go well for me again.I don’t want to be halfhearted, Lord. Take me totally heart and soul. Don’t let me hold anything back. Fill me with your joy today and your peace. Let me feel your love for me.
