2 Samuel 22:17-20But me he caught—reached all the way from sky to sea; he pulled me out Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos, the void in which I was drowning.They hit me when I was down, but God stuck by me. He stood me up on a wide-open field; I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!God is wonderful. He can save me. He can reach me where ever I am. He can approach me from any angle and through anything. He shows me that he cares in so many different ways. He is my God.Lord, forgive me when I get so tied up with my cares that I fail to see you. Show me how you love me. Point out to me the many ways you care for me. Open my eyes to the small joys that you spread around me.I know that you can pull me out of any depression or despair. I know that you are there for me in any situation. I know that you always stick by me. You never leave me alone.You give me space to breathe. You allow me to open my arms wide and feel a little space, a little privacy, a little hope. I stand here today surprised to be loved by you.
