Day 135 May 15 2 Corinithians 1:3

2 Corinthians 1:3-5All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel!He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.My hard times can be a comfort to others going through hard times. Because God is here for me, I can be here for someone else. God’s grace and mercy gives me the opportunity to give to others as I have been given.Lord, let me turn to you every day for the strength and courage to keep going. Forgive me for not trusting in you and for not listening to your comforting words.Give me the wisdom and knowledge I need to make it through this day. Fill me with hope and joy so that I can bring hope to the lives of others.Open my eyes to opportunities around me. Put a smile on my face for those who need cheering. Let me weep with those who need company in their mourning. Let me stand strong with those who feel weak today.You are here with me. Take my hand. Give me a hug. Let’s walk down this path together.
