1 Peter 1:1-2, 8-9I, Peter, am an apostle on assignment by Jesus, the Messiah, writing to exiles scattered to the four winds. Not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has his eye on each of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus. May everything good from God be yours! You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation.I am not missing. I am not forgotten. God the Father has his eye on me. He has determined to keep me obedient to him through the sacrifice of Jesus and through his Spirit.I trust in him with laughter and singing!Lord, l praise you. You have found me. I am not missing anymore. I am not forgotten. You have a plan for me today.Forgive me for not trusting in your plan. Help me trust you today. Hold my hand and walk me through the path you have for him.Everything good from God is mine. I love you. I trust you, please me help me to trust you every day. Let me trust you with laughter and singing.Fill me with your love and your peace today. Let me have your hope filling me completely. Let me feel your smile today.
