What’s happening with the publishing?
We have three new books on the horizon. In Book 1 of Morro Bay Mysteries, things get off to a rocky start. In volume 5 of the Daily Prayer Guide series, we take on kindness, faith, I choose joy, and trust.
My mother wrote snippets for years. They are deep in the history of posts on her website, emilys-snippets.com. These short devotionals will come from 2019.
Cozy Mystery
I’m so excited for you to read The Rocky Start. Festus gets into some of the oddest costumes. The seagulls destroy one of them almost immediately. Donner works hard to protect his town and Wilson.
I’ve finished the first draft of The Rocky Start, where we begin the Cozy Mystery series.
Devotionals
My mom wrote short devotions every weekday for years. She wrote from a point of decision on uprooting her and my dad when his dementia began to grow. She continued to write after moving to Illinois, near my brother.
And writing her devotions helped her through the decision to move my father to a memory care facility. It was hard for them to be separated, but at least she finally slept at night. And then his graduation to heaven came, and her devotions helped her grieve.
Why would you buy a copy of Daily Prayer Guide Volume 5? Some people just like a paperback book they can underline, write notes on, and highlight. And some do those same things in their book reader.
