God chose me. God is pleased with me. God has bathed me with his Spirit, God’s life.
With God’s life, I will set everything right. I won’t call attention to what I do with loud speeches or gaudy parades. I won’t brush aside the bruised and the hurt. I won’t disregard the small and insignificant. I will steadily and firmly set things right.
I won’t tire out and quit. Jesus won’t be stopped. Through me he will continue until he’s finished the work in me to set things right.
God’s Message breathes life into people. His message breathes life into me, making me alive with God’s own life.
God is I Am. He has called me. He has taken responsibility for me. He keeps me safe.
He has set me among the people to bind them to God. He has proved me as a lighthouse to the nations. God is using me to make a start at bring people into the open, into light.
God takes my hand and shows me the way when I can’t see where I am going. He is my personal guide taking me through unknown territory. He shows me what roads to take. He keeps me out of the ditch. He sticks by me. He does not leave me.
I will not be a people battered and cowed. I will not be a victim feeling ignored or abandoned.
I will not be afraid. God has redeemed me. He has called my name. I am his. When I am in over my head, God will be there with me. When I am in rough waters, I will not go down. When I’m between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end.
Because God is I AM. He is my personal God. He is the Holy One of Israel. He is my Savior. He paid a huge price for me. He loves me so much. He would sell off the whole world to get me back. He would trade creation just for me.
So I will not be afraid for God is with me. He wants me. I bear his name. God creates me for God’s glory. He personally formed me. He personally made me.
I am God’s witness. I am his handpicked servant. He wants me to come to know and trust him. He wants me to understand that he is I AM. He wants me to understand who He is.
Before God there was not such thing as a god. He is the only God. He is the only Savior. He is God. He has always been God. He always will be God. No one can take anything from God. No one can take me from God.
God can build a road right through the ocean. He can carve a path through pounding waves. He can summon horses and armies. He can protect me.
So I will forget about what has happened. I will not keep going over the past. I will be alert. I will live in the present because God is about to do something brand-new.
God is making a road through the desert and providing rivers where there was none. He has provided water for me because he chose me. I am custom-made to praise God.
God is the one who takes care of my sins. He doesn’t keep a list of my sins.
I will not be afraid for God has chosen me. He will pour water on the thirsty ground and send streams coursing through the parched earth. He will pour his Spirit into me. He will bless me. I am proud to be called God’s property.
God is the first, the last and everything in between. He is the only God there is. There is no one or no thing that compares with him. So I will not be afraid and I will not worry. There is no Rock like God.
God has made me and shaped me. I am his servant. He will never forget me. He has wiped the slate of all my wrongdoings. There is nothing left of my sins. I will be with God. He has redeemed me.
