Day 10 Zephaniah 3:16

Zephaniah 3:16Jerusalem will be told: “Don’t be afraid.Dear Zion, don’t despair.Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save you.Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs.God says to not be afraid. God says not to despair.The world has gone crazy. So many people pay no attention to the golden rule. They try to get away with as much as they can. They laugh to themselves when they take money from the poor.But God says not to despair. He says not to be afraid. Why?Because God is present here with me today. God is a strong Warrior here to save me. God is happy to have me here. He will calm me with his love. He will delight me with his songs.Lord, today I will watch the news with you holding my hand. I will pay my bills with you holding me in your arms. I will do my chores while you laugh with me and you sing me songs.With you beside me I will not be afraid. With you here next to me I will not despair. I will work at my chores, my duties and my job with you present here with me.You, Lord, are my strong warrior. You fight for me and you save me. Calm me with your love. Fill me with peace. Forgive me for not trusting in you. Thank you, Lord.
