1 Thessalonians 1:2-5Every time we think of you, we thank God for you. Day and night you’re in our prayers as we call to mind your work of faith, your labor of love, and your patience of hope in following our Master, Jesus Christ, before God our Father.It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special. When the Message we preached came to you, it wasn’t just words. Something happened in you. The Holy Spirit put steel in your convictions.I need to pray for my fellow believers and I need prayer too. I need prayer to continue my work of faith, my labor of love, my patience of hope in following my Master, Jesus Christ, before God my Father.Lord, make it clear to me today that you love me very much. Bless me today and give me faith for my work. Give me love for my labor. Give me hope to fuel my patience. Keep me following you in everything.You have called me to something special. You have put steel in my convictions. Move in me today to do your will with your strength and your courage. Let me be yours today.
