Daniel 10:12-14“‘Relax, Daniel,’ he continued, ‘don’t be afraid. From the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I set out to come to you. But I was waylaid by the angel-prince of the kingdom of Persia and was delayed for a good three weeks. But then Michael, one of the chief angel-princes, intervened to help me. I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia. And now I’m here to help you understand what will eventually happen to your people. The vision has to do with what’s ahead.’Daniel had prayed for three weeks for understanding and wisdom on what to do in the foreign land. God had answered him right away but the answer was delayed. The angels from heaven and those evil angels are fighting in the spiritual world to bring me answers to my prayers. God has already answered me. He wants me to understand what will happen to me. He wants me to understand what is ahead.Lord, forgive me of my sins. Forgive me for not trusting you. Give me your patience to wait on you and your answers. Give me your understanding and wisdom to know how to wait and how to occupy my time. Help me to believe that you will show me how to walk and where to walk today. Permeate my being with your peace and your joy. Fill me with your strength and your courage today. I will listen to you.
