Here I am again. Lord, my hope is in You. I place my hope in You alone, not in might and not in the power of man. Why am I so disturbed? Why can’t I just hope in God? Despite all my emotions, I believe in You. I praise the One who saves me. You are my Savior and my God. I hope in God.
In the darkness, my soul quietly waits for You, the One True God. You are my only hope. I never forget the wondrous things You have done. Help me to obey Your commands. You support me as promised, and my hope does not turn to shame. You sustain me when I stumble. You raise me up in hope when I feel broken. My hope is centered in You, Eternal God.
My soul waits quietly for You
I rejoice and celebrate the Eternal God’s liberation. He has saved me. I am filled with joy, and my soul vibrates with exuberant hope. You, Eternal One, are my God. You dress me in salvation and wrap me in righteousness. I have courage because of my hope in You. You hear me when I look to You.
You bring the rain and the showers that give life. My hope is in the One True God who does this. You filled creation with a deep and abiding hope in You.
Hope in God – The One True God
My Lord leads me to a place of radical grace, allowing me to experience God’s glory and hope. Lord, You are the source of all hope. You infuse my life with an abundance of joy and peace. Then hope will overflow through the power of the Holy Spirit. You have called me to pursue one hope, hope in You.
I pursue hope in You
You give me hope. Even in grief, I know You are with me. Give me tireless toil of love and unfailing, unwavering, unending hope in You, Lord Jesus Christ. You richly provide everything for our enjoyment. I rest in this hope in God. That hope is real and true, an anchor to steady my soul. This hope leads me into Your presence, and I draw near to You. I have been reborn into a living hope through God’s great mercy. I have been brought forward to trust in God. My hope is in Him.
O True God, once again, hear me. Hide me in Your favor. Bring victory in defeat and hope in hopelessness.
A song of David, Psalm 4, written in desperation while knowing God will answer his prayers.
