I have spent years of my life trying to find out what I should do to earn money. I’ve tried different hobbies. I’ve spent time doing things I could barely tolerate just so I could find out if I could stand it long enough to make money.Unfortunately, life interferes in my search for what I want to do to demand my attendance on things I have to do. Things about insurance and yard work. It isn’t fun yard work but just digging and trying to create a smooth and level path. There are all the things to do that go along with life, family, friends, emergencies, opportunities, and change. And with the changes I have more responsibilities, more duties and less time to pursue things for which I might have passion. And then, I learn to fill my time with time-wasters. I fill my time with things that don’t matter. These things would be television and recreational reading for me but for others could be shopping, social networks, or partying. But today, I want to know what it is that God wants me to do.John 17:19Your word is consecrating truth. In the same way that you gave me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world. I’m consecrating myself for their sakes So they’ll be truth-consecrated in their mission.Lord, show me my mission for today. Show me your ways and the steps I must take to walk with you today. Consecrate me Lord and prepare my heart with your mercy and grace. Fill me with joy and show me your glorious presence as you walk with me.
