He stood me up on a wide-open field; I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!So many times God has saved me. He reaches down from heaven all the way to the depths of my soul and pulls me out of despair. He surprises me with his love, his care and his joy. Even when things don’t look better to my eyes, my hearts sings with praise for his peace and his gentle kindness.Lord, thank you for loving me. Thank you for saving me from my sins, from my thought processes, from so many wrong turns.Fill me with your love and your joy today. Help me to see how you care for me, even in the little things. Give me the strength to move through this day as you have asked me.Fill me up with the courage I need to keep going even though I may find obstacles in my way.
