I sometimes wonder how I’m supposed to move on from the mistakes I have made.  There are failures and then there are embarrassing failures. But how do I move on?I have sinned and asked for forgiveness.  And it says in Ephesians that God has forgiven me.  He forgave me because of the sacrifice of Jesus.  Jesus poured out his love, his life, his blood on the cross for me.  And because of that I am free.I am free of the penalties of my sins.  I am free of the punishments from my mistakes or my willful deeds.  God worked everything out long ago.  And he took delight in providing a way for me to be forgiven. He provided everything that I could need.  He did this so that I could be free.  I wouldn’t just be barely free.  I would be abundantly free! And this freedom he gave me, this would be my chance to share his plan with other people.  With my freedom I can encourage others and give them hope.Lord, thank you for your sacrifice for me.  Thank you for making me free.  Thank you for bringing your life into my poor upside-down life and giving me the freedom to choose you. Help me to appreciate my freedom and live life to the full in you.Give me a heart for others.  Make me clean inside and out.  Fill my heart with your love daily and keep me moving forward.Ephesians 1:7-10 Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
