John 16:31-33Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I will trust Jesus and then I will be unshakable, assured, and deeply at peace.Lord, please forgive me for not taking time to be with you. You are my focus and my shelter. In you I have safety. In you I have peace. I will trust in you.Give me the strength I need today to walk in the path you have given me. Give me the courage to step out in new directions that you will lead me. Let my words be gentle and my patience legendary. I will give you all the praise.Reign in my heart and fill me with your love and your joy. Let me move through the day with kindness.
