Joshua 1:9Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.”What does it take to make me take strength or to be courageous? How can I remove timidity from my actions or my thinking? How do stop being discouraged and be encouraged?I have to know who is with me. I have to know that God is with me today every moment and every step. He is there for every decision I make and every choice I make. He is there for every word out of my mouth.Who is with me? The most powerful being that every lived on this earth or in heaven. He is my God. He is my Lord. He is my Savior. He is Jesus. He can raise the dead. He put the stars into place.And he loves me and cares for me.Lord, forgive me for forgetting how great and majestic you are. You are awesome. You are bigger than anything I have to face today. You have more love than I will ever need. You have more patience that I will need today. You have more grace and mercy than this world has ever seen. You are my healer and my provider.Help me to focus on you today. Help me to remember who you are when my problems get to me. Help me to be thankful for your healing when I feel hurt or weak.
