Exodus 14:13Moses spoke to the people: “Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians today for you’re never going to see them again.I need to not be afraid today. I need to reach out and take what God has shown me. I need to stand firm on what God has promised me. I need to watch God work out my salvation today. He does a work in me. My job is to trust in him and believe that he can help me.And this situation, this job, this person, this financial mountain, I need to take a good look at it. God is going to take care of my situation and I need to trust in him. I don’t need to trust myself. I don’t need to trust my significant other or my boss. This is a God thing.Lord, forgive me of my sins today. Some days I just can’t go two inches without falling into doubt and fear. But you have things under control for me. You will provide for me. You give me your strength and your courage. You give me your faith when mine is lacking.You fill me with your peace and your love. And when I feel down and discouraged, you fill me with your hope and your joy. Interrupt my day with a reminder of your love for me. Show me your tender side today. Change my heart and my mind into who you want me to be.I will look at my life and remember that today God will take my hand and walk with me.
