2 Chronicles 32:6-8Hezekiah rallied the people, saying, “Be strong! Take courage! Don’t be intimidated by the king of Assyria and his troops—there are more on our side than on their side. He only has a bunch of mere men; we have our God to help us and fight for us!”Morale surged. Hezekiah’s words put steel in their spines.Hezekiah had more than men to fight against the king of Assyria. He had God to help him. He had God to fight for him.And so do I. I have my God on my side. He helps me. He fights for me. He helps me move forward. I just need to believe in him.Lord, please forgive me for my sins. Please forgive me for not trusting in you today. Help me to be strong. Fill me with your strength. Fill me with your courage. Fill me with your power. Then I can walk through this day knowing that you are with me every step of the way.I know that you are fighting for me against all obstacles. I know that you are more powerful than men. You hold their hearts in your hands. You provide favor for me with those in charge.I will not be intimidated. I will be encouraged. Lord, place steel in my spine today so that I can walk with you.
