Galatians 5:22-23 But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard – things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Lord today I thank you for your love which translates into my life as affection for others. Lord I thank you for your joy which translates into my life as exuberance about life. Lord I thank you for your peace which translates into my life as serenity. Lord today I thank you for your patience which translates into my life as a willingness to stick with things. Lord I thank you for your kindness which translates into my life as a sense of compassion in the heart. Lord I thank you for your goodness which translates into my life as a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people.Lord today I thank you for your faithfulness which translates into my life as being involved in loyal commitments. Lord I thank you for your gentleness which translates into my life as not needing to force my way in life. Lord I thank you for your self-control which translates into my life as able to marshal and direct my energies wisely.Lord, you are my hope and my life today. Forgive me of my sins and fill me with your peace and joy. Fill me with your love and gentleness. Permeate my being with your grace and mercy. Help me to walk in your ways today.
