God is Glorious

God is Glorious

I felt these two chapters were filled to the brim with so many encouraging and pointed topics. One that inspired me to sing was how glorious God is.

God created a glorious world with wonderfully made, intricate plants and animals, small and large. He created things with such beauty. He created the clouds in the sky and caused them to interact with the dust and sunshine in the air, creating rainbows and colors galore.

How glorious is the amazing beauty in a flower and its fragrance! It is astounding the variety of personalities among animals and humans. God created each snowflake unique, even though few will know its shape. Why? It is because God loves beauty. God is beautiful. He is glorious.

Rejoice with me in the beauty of God’s presence.

And yet, we were made in his image. Us. We are here for such a short time in the span of eternity, and each of us is unique. God takes the time to shape us, and he knows each of us individually. He made us the same as he made all of his creations.

He made us beautiful. He made us unique. He made us intricately complicated and wonderful. He gave us all talents and desires. He has a plan for each of us. He has a purpose for each of us. We are glorious because he made us that way.

Jude 1:24 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.

David Crowder’s song Everything Glorious You make everything glorious and I am Yours!
