I wait quietly for you, Lord

Thank You, Lord God, that You make things right again. There is too much hurt, sorrow, and injustice in this world today. Protect the poor and weak. Free the oppressed and bring quiet to this world.

The Lord speaks to me in a quiet voice, so I must step away to a peaceful place to listen. Where in this world is silent? How do we find it?

The Lord’s gentle voice comes to me through God’s Spirit. He leads me to an abundant, quiet, and peaceful land. If I listen well and stay quiet, He teaches me wisdom. My salvation comes from Him, and I hope only in Him, the True God. I am calm, quiet, and contented in the Lord.

Teach me, Lord, I wait quietly for You

Lord, teach me to know when to be quiet and when to speak. Show me how to share this quiet, peaceful life with others. Thank You, Lord, that in quietness and trust, You give me strength.

He covered his face with his cloak and went to the mouth of the cave. Suddenly, Elijah was surprised. Eternal One: Why are you here, Elijah? What is it that you desire?
