He is safe for all who are battered, physically, emotionally or spiritually. If there is someone battered, God is our safe place.Here in God I can relax. From the moment I turn to him I relax. I am never sorry that I turned to God.Lord, forgive me for ignoring you during the day. You are my refuge. You are my stronghold. You are my hiding place. You are my master and my friend. You are my healer. You are my Saviour.Hold me close today. Do not let me stray. Help me to stay with your hand in mine. Let me walk alongside you today. If it grows too much for me, carry me through to the end of the day.Let me smile today over how much you love me. And help me to be kind and gentle with myself and others today.
