Revise the first draftHi. I’m taking a course by Holly Lisle on how to revise the first draft. I’ve been working on the novel, Lily, which I wrote over a year ago when I started her course on how to write a series. I’d like to say, I love Holly Lisle and her writing courses. I have learned so much about the craft of writing. However, she does make me work!

Revise the first draft!

I am trying to fit in the time to work on my book for more than one minute at a time and when I am not exhausted. That’s not really working for me so I’m going to carve out some time this week to set out my stuff and start the cut on the manuscript for the first time. I’m very nervous! My tendency is to give up when the thinking is too hard.  And Holly wants to help make me a great writer, so the thinking is hard!

I’ve only got 3 more lessons in the 22 lesson course left. But I’m starting to lose what i need to do first.  So I will make it a priority this week to work on the editing.

Next week, I’ll work on the outlines for the next three books!

Update: Lily is available now! And the rest of the Planted Flowers series!
